If you’ve not fired up your machine for a while, you should now see a notice advising you to upgrade every time you sign in. After January 15, your PC will also restart every 2 hours, and you’ll lose any unsaved data."

Visual Studio 2013 launches on 13 November 2013

Error: The {0} cannot continue testing since the specified Windows Store App was not found! (Resolved)

Today, after I updated my Windows 8 to Windows 8.1, my Visual Studio 2012 (Update 3) does not allow me to validate my app using the Windows App Certification kit. I have been stuck at this error message, "The {0} cannot continue testing since the specified Windows Store App was not found. Please verify the packagefullname is correct".

I began to search online for solution and found that it was because I was using Windows App Certification Kit (Version 2.2). So after I go to http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/apps/bg127575.aspx to download the latest kit (Version 3.1) and it works now.
